Vocal music to be featured by Opera Elect

I am happy to announce that my art song The Friend to the Young Man in Love will be premiered by members of Opera Elect this summer during their New Music Concert Series. In addition, they have asked me write a companion song to Young Man so I will try to write something of worth between now and the April 15th deadline. Stayed tuned to the same Bat Channel to see if I succeed.

So I decided to give the guys at Opera Elect some jazz vocal tunes I had written a few years back. These performances will be premieres as well since I have only performed then as instrumental tunes with my jazz combo. Emiko and Beloved are some of my first attempts at proper song writing and I can't wait to hear them for the first time.
